Prebiotic ingredients stimulate growth by selectively nourishing the good bacteria already present in the skin's microbiome. This displaces and eradicates bad bacteria, ultimately creating balance in the skin.

Probiotics are live bacterial strains that supplement the population of good bacteria. However, this can often shorten the shelf life of a product.

Whilst Sorted Skin is formulated with sensitive skin in mind, which can often be the case during pregnancy, the products have not been specifically tested on pregnant women. However, our products do not contain any ingredients known to be unsafe or cause reactions during pregnancy.

All our products are cruelty-free, in accordance with European law and our own values regarding animal testing.

Each and every product in the Sorted Skin range is primarily designed for sensitive skin on the face, body and intimate areas. Each of our ranges has its own unique blend of natural essential oils and extracts, specially developed for a specific skin problem.

All products have been dermatologically tested. However, we recommend that people with sensitivities carry out a skin patch test with any topical product before use

The microbiome is the skin's natural protective layer of good bacteria living on the skin's surface - the skin's first line of defence. However, if good bacteria are found to be lacking, the system becomes unbalanced, which can lead to flare-ups of common skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema, acne, and even intimate skin problems like thrush.

Our products have not been tested for use on infants and children. However, we are working on a line of skincare products specifically for babies and children that will be available soon.

All our products are fragrance-free and therefore contain no added fragrances or perfumes. However, the scent of some of our products is based exclusively on natural ingredients.
